Suzanne M. Phillips, a native Texan, lives in Houston. An artist since first putting pencil to paper, her recent focus has been watercolor and acrylic painting. Her paintings have been recognized for their intense color, use of experimental papers and displayed locally in galleries and art competitions. Artists’ affiliations include The Arts Alliance Center at Clear Lake (TAACCL), Galveston Art League, National Art Society, Texas City Annual Festival of the Arts, Easels Art Studio, Circle Gallery, Lawndale Art Center, Watercolor Art Society of Houston and City of La Porte Art League.
Suzanne’s paintings have been collected in the Southern United States. She has been commissioned for many paintings and murals. Paintings are currently on display at the gift shop in The Arts Alliance Center at Clear Lake, 2000 NASA Parkway, Nassau Bay, Texas and Pelatiah’s Fine Art, 223 W. Main St., La Porte, Texas. Her art is featured on the début CD of Janet Z., Gruene Rain.
Creativity is a gift and it is with gratitude that Suzanne volunteers her time and talent to causes such as PTA, the Girl & Boy Scouts, Second Chance Pets, Houston Center for Hearing and Speech and UTMB Galveston.
